My local main street
If you have been following this blog for a while, you will have probably seen quite a few photos of the landscape around the Chyulu Hills, on Mbirikani Group Ranch where our Lion Guardians program is based.
It is a beautiful place to live and work, and when it is not too cloudy we can see Kilimanjaro in the distance.
But I think you probably have not seen any photos of Mbirikani village, where there are a few shops and places to drink tea. This is the main street of Mbirikani. How does it compare with the main street in the place where you live?
Kind of nicer than crowded DRC……I ‘d rather lived there!
Absolutely gorgeous pictures. Our main street is called Mrytle Avenue and it is crowded with cars and people walking along. We have a movie theatre and cafe’s along our main street. Also, our local public library is on our main street. We have a street fair on our main street every Friday night. It’s pretty fun! Lisa
Wonderful photos, looks like the wild west!
What wonderful colours. Here all roads are grey tarmac. You don’t seem to have the same parking problems that we do! Our main streets are crammed with traffic lights roundabouts and road signs and they are usually buzzing with people.
my main street is the las vegas blvd., it’s vega. therefore it’s bright, loud and tacky! no where as pretty as yours. how i envy thee
