We should all feel proud and honored.” – Dr Leela Hazzah, 2014 CNN Hero
CNN Heroes is a year-long initiative that honors everyday people for their selfless, creative efforts to help others. All CNN Heroes are selected from viewer nominations submitted at CNNHeroes.com. Last year, more than 10,000 nominations were received from around the world.
At Lion Guardians, we are extremely proud that Lion Guardians director, Leela Hazzah, has been nominated as a 2014 CNN Hero. In the fall, the 2014 Top 10 CNN Heroes will be announced. We all have our fingers and toes crossed that Leela makes it to the Top 10 and then we will be counting on all of you to help make her the 2014 CNN Hero!
